The Daily Catch Pasadena brings Boston’s legendary Sicilian-style seafood tradition to the West Coast. Established in 1973 and family-owned for more than five decades, The Daily Catch has become a Boston institution known for fresh seafood, authentic family recipes, and its iconic squid ink black pasta. Today, guests in Southern California can enjoy the same celebrated dining experience at 927 E. Colorado Blvd in Pasadena.
Owned and operated by the Freddura family, The Daily Catch sources seafood through its own processing facility on Boston’s Historic Fish Pier, flying fresh lobster, shellfish, and New England seafood to California multiple times each week. By controlling every step of the process—from the docks of Boston to your table—we ensure the same quality, freshness, and flavor that have defined our restaurants for generations.
Guests can enjoy all of The Daily Catch’s signature favorites, including calamari prepared seven different ways, lobster fra diavolo feasts, and our legendary squid ink black pasta served in the pan it was sautéed in. “We are bringing our most popular dishes directly to you,” says Theo Freddura, General Manager of the Pasadena location. After more than 50 years of success on the East Coast, The Daily Catch is proud to share the Sicilian flavors, hospitality, and family traditions that made it a Boston staple with the Pasadena community.
