Sous Chef | Brookline
We are seeking an experienced and motivated sous-chef that is capable of working on a fast-paced sauté line and running the day to day culinary operations of our small restaurant concept. Our kitchens are a one-man line, with YOU being responsible for cooking all the food. The ability to execute nightly and weekly specials is a must, as is the ability to work the line solo.
- Responsible for all culinary activities of the restaurant on a day to day basis
- Execute The Daily Catch menu with precision and consistency
- Create daily specials that are based on self-expression, seasonal and local ingredients, and Sicilian cuisine
- Complete daily prep list and mise en place for cooking stations
- Maintain quality standards and storage of food products, especially seafood
- Effectively work sauté and fry station while multi-tasking in a busy environment
- Understand food allergy protocol
- Safely use all kitchen tools and equipment, including knives
- Ensures a safe and clean facility by following sanitation standards and health regulations
- Placing orders and maintaining inventory according to company procedures
- Ability to stand for an entire shift and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Perform other related duties
Pay: Starting at $18/hour
Schedule: Dinner shift Wed – Sunday

We are hiring full-time and part-time servers who are motivated, hospitality professionals. Teamwork and commitment to guest satisfaction are keys to success in this position. Previous serving experience and a good understanding of food, wine, and spirits are required!
- Commitment to exceed guest expectations
- Greet guests with a friendly and warm demeanor
- Take food and beverage orders
- Follow sanitation and allergy protocol, washing hands regularly
- Pour beer, wine and make cocktails
- Operate a point of sales system and process payments
- Answer phone and process take-out orders
- Perform dining room set up, running side work and closing duties
- Understand and respond knowledgeably to questions about the menu and restaurant
- Willingness to learn about The Daily Catch, seafood, and wine
- Ability to stand for an entire shift and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Perform other related duties
Pay: $5.50/hour plus tips
